From Saturday 4th July, we will be re-opening our doors for the first time in 12 weeks. We are all aware things will be a little different now and we have decided to share the changes with you, so you know what to expect. Please be kind, please be patient. We would like to thank everyone who has supported us so far with the opening of the kiosk – we want pubs to remain open but we need your help!!

OPENING TIMES

Kiosk – Open from 9am until 4pm Wednesday - Sunday serving our normal menu to Include hot and cold soft drinks and snacks. Currently closed Monday and Tuesdays.

Garden – Open from 9am until 8pm Monday - Sunday serving our normal menu to Include hot and cold soft drinks and snacks.

Pub - open from 2pm until 11pm Monday - Friday / open from Midday until close Saturday and Sunday

ENTRY & EXIT

Entry to The Old Railway will be via the front main door only, this includes visits to the toilet. The side door will be for exit ONLY. You will be asked for a name and contact number and/or email address on entry for the governments ‘track and trace’ system

INSIDE THE PUB

Table service only inside the pub, no standing in or around the bar area. All patrons must be seated at a table, no more than 6 people to a table from 2 different households ONLY.

Tables can be reserved inside and outside the pub.

Your empty glasses will be collected by our staff members, and orders will be taken at your table inside the pub. We do accept cash payments, but we ask if you can pay by card where possible.

TOILETS

Toilets must be accessed from the side door of the pub. We will operate a ‘1 in 1 out’ policy (adults can accompany one child at a time if required)

THE GARDEN & CHILDRENS PLAY AREA

There will be benches available and can be prebooked. Maximum of 6 per bench, mixture of 2 households only. Again, your name and contact details will be requested on entry to the garden for the track and trace system. The children’s new play area will be open, however children must be supervised at all times by an adult. Please be aware, there is no shelter from the rain outside and in the event of rainfall you may not necessarily be able to go inside the pub if all tables are allocated by other patrons.

CLEANING

We have put an hourly cleaning rota in place for the toilets, the bar and play area, all metal/plastic surfaces will be cleaned every hour. We may need to clear the area prior to our clean

NOTES

Abuse towards our staff will NOT be tolerated. Whilst we appreciate you would like to enjoy your weekend; this is all very new to us. Anyone that is not compliant with our new guidelines will be asked to leave the premises and will not be permitted to return.
